Born from a mother who was once a tailor, Delasari is familiar with sewing and design. Despite graduated from Law School, she never use her degree. Besides her mother’s influence, she always likes culture and color, so she worked mostly in fashion industry instead: garment manufacturer, luxury brand from France, and fashion brands from USA. Hence, she is accustomed to International exposure. It was her friend from USA who first introduced her to batik quilting. Since then, she starts to pay more attention to the trend, especially smoked batik (or “Artisan Batik”). After learning for quite a while, she decided to establish a trading company to export Indonesian artisan batik fabric, to support the need of quilting community in International market.
